A talented all-round defenseman who was highly touted as a junior. Very mobile.
Not big, but not small either. Good shot from the point.
Able to quarterback a power play if necessary. Decent two-way abilities, both as an offensive blueliner and as shutdown d’man. As a junior he lacked some strength and had to get stronger in order to be more effective in the NHL. Only average at best when it comes to positioning and defensive-zone coverage.
Helped Canada to win a gold medal at the 2021 World Championships.

Un défenseur complet et talentueux qui était très coté en junior. très mobile.
Pas grand mais pas petit non plus (185 cm, 88 kg). Bon lancer de la ligne bleue.
Capable de mener le jeu en supériorité numérique si nécessaire. Des capacités correctes comme défenseur offensif ou défensif. En junior, il manquait de force pour être efficace en NHL. Tout juste moyen dans son positionnement et sa couverture de la zone défensive.
Il a participé à la médaille d'or du Canada aux championnats du monde 2021.
