For many years he formed a line with Giancarlo Bulgheroni and Umberto Gerli. They had learned ice hockey together in their youth with coach Egidio Bruciamonti.
Switched to defense in time for the 1948 Olympics.

Il passa en défense à temps pour les Jeux Olympiques de 1948.
