A product of Olimpija Ljubljana. Spent one year playing junior hockey in Sweden.
In later years he played in France, Kazakhstan, Slovakia and Great Britain.
Smooth skater who could rush up the ice to carry the play into the offensive zone.
Had to work on his backchecking and on his teamwork.
Scored a legendary goal during the play-offs 2012 by lifting the puck on his stick from behind the net, like Mikael Granlund had done in 2011 World Championships.

Pur produit de l'Olimpija Ljubljana. Il a passé un an en junior en Suède.
Il joua ensuite en France, au Kazakhstan, en Slovaquie et en Grande-Bretagne.
À l'aise dans son patinage, capable de belles remontées de glace pour aller placer le jeu en zone offensive.
Perfectible notamment dans le repli défensif et dans l'intégration dans un collectif.
Il a marqué un but d'exception en play-offs 2012 en levant le puck dans la lucarne depuis l'arrière de la cage, symétrique du but de Mikael Granlund au Mondial 2011.
