He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, but grew up in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
In the 1990s he also lived in Saranac Lake, NY with his family. WCHA Player of the Year 2008.
Goaltender with good reflexes and recuperative ability. A bit on the smallish side.
Weakness on high shots and not quite ready to learn the pro shooters' tendencies at an early age.

Il est né à Salt Lake City, dans l'Utah, mais a grandi à Highlands Ranch, dans le Colorado.
Dans les années 1990 il a également vécu à Saranac Lake, dans l'État de New York, avec sa famille. Joueur de l'année en WCHA en 2008.
Gardien disposant de bons réflexes et d'habiletés dans la récupération.
