Came from a family that had settled down in Manchuria, China. His father was the assistant chief of the Harbin Central Station at the turn of the 20th century. He also conducted active public work and was one of the founders of the Manchurian agricultural society; as well as a founding member of the Bank of homeowners. He was also a founding member of "Lord Polska" and created the Roman Catholic parish there.
Michal Antuszewicz graduated from the Harbin East and Comercial Institute with an economic degree as well as a translator. There he studied several languages like Chinese, Japanese, English and Russian.
He was not only born in Manchuria, but also represented them in some games.
166 cm (5’5”) tall.
He captained teams in Harbin, playing together with his two younger brothers.
From 1932 and onwards he played for the local Russian clubs in Harbin, including “Депо” (Depo) and “Новое Спортивное Общество” (New Sports Society).
In 1938 and 1939 he captained the Polish sponsored team PZH (Polski Związek Hokejow) in Harbin, leading them to the Harbin Cup, the most prestigious hockey title in China at the time.
In 1949 the entire family moved back to Poland. Represented Poland 14 times.
Made a brief comeback in 1956 and played alongside his brother Stanislaw once again.
Became a hockey coach for Gornik Zagłębie. Also ran a hockey school.
At the 1964 Winter Olympics in Japan he was the official translator for the Polish athletes

Son père était l'assistant-chef de la station centrale de Harbin (Chine) à l'aube du vingtième siècle. Il conduisait également des travaux publics et était l'un des fondateurs de la société d'agriculture de Mandchourie, ainsi qu'un des fondateurs de la Banque des propriétaires.
Il était également un fondateur de "Lord Polska" et a créé une paroisse catholique.
Michal Antuszewicz fut diplômé en économie - mais aussi comme traducteur - de l'institut de commerce d'Harbin.
Il a également étudié des langues comme le chinois, le japonais, l'anglais et le russe.
Il n'est pas seulement né en Mandchourie, mais l'a aussi représentée pour quelques matchs.

Il était capitaine d'équipes à Harbin, jouant avec ses deux jeunes frères.
À partir de 1932, il a joué pour des clubs russes locaux, dont “Депо” (Depo) et “Новое Спортивное Общество” (New Sports Society).
En 1938 et 1939, il était le capitaine de l'équipe polonaise PZH (Polski Związek Hokejow) à Harbin, les conduisant jusqu'à la coupe Harbin, le titre de hockey le plus prestigieux en Chine à ce moment-là.
En 1949, toute la famille retourne en Pologne. 14 sélections en équipe nationale.
Il a fait un bref retour en 1956 et a joué avec son frère Stanislaw une nouvelle fois.
Il est devenu entraîneur pour le Gornik Zagłębie et a aussi créé une école de hockey.
Aux Jeux Olympiques de 1964 au Japon, il était le traducteur officiel des athlètes polonais.
