Top scorer of the Romanian league in 1980.
Played for Miercurea Ciuc between 1972 and 1989, except for one season (1977/78) when he played for Steaua Bucureşti.
Appeared in 375 games for the Romanian national team.
Solid defenseman who together with Sandor Gall were offered 100.000 marks by German club SB Rosenheim in 1976 to play with them.
Due to the political climate they couldn’t accept the offer without leaving the country illegaly.
Coached the Miercurea Ciuc ice hockey team between 1993 and 2002.
Became a businessman.
Frequently played oldtimers hockey in Miercurea Ciuc where he lived.

A joué pour le Miercurea Ciuc de 1972 à 1989, sauf une saison (1977/78) où il faisait partie du Steaua Bucureşti.
A joué 375 matchs pour l'équipe nationale de Roumanie.
Défenseur solide qui, avec Sandor Gall, s'est vu offrir 100 000 marks par le club allemand du SB Rosenheim pour jouer chez eux.
En raison du climat politique, ils ne purent accepter cette offre sans quitter le pays illégalement.
