His father Frank was from England and his mother Freda from Germany.
Began playing hockey in Calgary, Alberta and played there until 1935 before moving to Kimberley, British Columbia where he played the rest of his career.
Scored 26 points (12+14) in 107 career games for Kimberley and Calgary. Retired in 1942.
Passed away after a five year battle with cancer (multiple myeloma) at the Kimberley & District Hospital, BC. He is buried at Kimberley City Cemetery.

Donne ses premiers coups de patin à Calgary où il jouera jusque ses 21 ans. En 1935, il quitte l'Alberta pour la ville de Kimberley, en Colombie britannique, et jouera en West Kootenay Senior Hockey League, un championnat local, jusque sa retraite en 1942.
Ne marque que 26 points (12+14), un total réduit dû à une carrière assez courte, ne comprenant que 107 matches.
Il s'éteindra à 65 ans après cinq ans à lutter contre un cancer de la moelle épinière (appelé myélome multiple). Enterré au cimetière municipal de Kimberley.
