Always went straight on goal in traditional North American fashion.
Named USA Hockey’s College Hockey Player of the Year in 1994.
Played in a team-record 149 consecutive games during his four seasons at Univ.of Minnesota.
Scored 835 (357+478) career points in 855 games.
Spent his last seasons abroad, playing in Japan, Germany, Sweden and Norway.
Emerged as a clutch performer and hero in his last two hockey games when he helped Norwegian team Storhamar Dragons win the league title in 2004.
First he scored the game winner in game six of overtime and then in game seven he set up the decisive goal in double overtime.
