Also a very good bandy player who was the Norwegian champion with Stabæk in 1952 and 1953. In 1953 he switched to ice hockey exclusively. Seen as something of a "nestor" for the Skeid club in the 1950s and played there. He also coached Drafn in the 1950s. Was the team leader for Poland during the 1963 Pool B World Championships on Swedish soil, an occasion on he also coached the Norwegian national team.

Egalement spécialiste de bandy, il fut d'ailleurs deux fois champion national de la discipline, en 1952 et 1953 avec Stabæk. C'est après ce deuxième titre qu'il se consacre exclusivement au hockey et intègre le Skeid Oslo où il fait un peu office de vieux sage, même s'il n'est pas si âgé à l'époque. Rejoindra ensuite le SB Drafn où il occupera un temps la fonction d'entraîneur-joueur.
Désigné accompagnateur de l'équipe nationale de Pologne lors du Mondial B 1963 disputé en Suède. En cette occasion, il fit aussi partie du staff sportif de la Norvège.
