Reliable defenseman who was a stalwart on the Polish national team in the 1920s and early 30s. Fine stickhandler and liked to carry the puck out of the defensive zone.
Represented Poland 31 times (6 goals). He was a banker by trade, having graduated from the school of economics in Warsaw.
Graduated as an infantry reserve officer. During WW II he was imprisoned in a Soviet camp (Kozielsk) for Polish officers and was murdered in the Katýn forest massacre of Polish officers by the Soviet NKVD (The People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs).

Ce défenseur fiable fut un cadre de l'équipe de Pologne. Aujourd'hui, on lui trouverait un profil offensif grâce à sa propension à porter le palet pour assurer les relances.
31 sélections et six buts. Diplômé de l'École d'économie de Varsovie, il exerça la profession de banquier.
Également officier de réserve de l'armée de son pays, il fit partie des victimes du massacre de la forêt de Katýn perpétré pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale par la Police politique soviétique (NKVD) pour anéntir l'élite polonaise.
