First skated as a four year-old and began playing hockey in his native Jindřichův Hradec. As a junior he switched to Česke Budějovice.
Speedy winger with a quick shot. Dangerous and nifty around the goal. Weaker without the puck. Greatest sports memory was to participate in the 2006 Olympics. Ranked Chris Pronger and Zdeno Chara as the toughest players to play against.
Retired in 2014. And became an assistant coach and assistant general manager for Budejovice.

Découvre le patinage et le hockey en même temps, à quatre ans, dans sa ville natale de Jindřichův Hradec. Part ensuite à Česke Budějovice pour y faire fructifier son talent prometteur.
Devenu un ailier rapide, massif (103 kg) et opportuniste face au but. Pas très assidu aux tâches défensives.
Son plus grand souvenir, dit-il, fut sa participation aux JO 2006. Ses adversaires les plus retors étaient Zdeno Chara et Chris Pronger.
Tire sa révérence en 2014, en D2 tchèque, sous le maillot du HC Česke Budějovice dont il devient ensuite dirigeant.
