Very good playmaker with a good feel for the game and smartness. Often not shooting enough. Good skater and stickhandler. A crowd pleaser. Was chosen as the best forward and made the All-Star team at the 2013 World Championships.
Never settled in the NHL, playing in the AHL instead, but established himself as a reliable player in the KHL.

Centre de première ligne, passeur et meneur de jeu aux brillantes inspirations. Patineur endurant, technique affinée qui plaît au public mais un tempérament pas assez "tireur". Élu meilleur attaquant des Mondiaux 2013, inscrit dans l'équipe-type de l'épreuve.
Ne s'est jamais imposé en NHL. Lassé de l'AHL, il s'est fait un nom en Russie où il est devenu une valeur sûre.
