Emerged as a very talented defenseman in Skien IHK where he played until the age of 16.
After that he continued to develop with Frisk Asker. Played one season in Sweden.
Very ambitious and always trained hard. Great skater with a smooth and natural stride.
Superior on-ice vision. Good stick technique. Average shot at best.

Produit de la formation au Skien IHK où son talent est vite remarqué. Quitte Skien à 16 ans pour rejoindre Frisk Asker et le haut niveau. Une saison en Suède (Vita Hästen, en Allsvenskan) au passage pour ce joueur exigeant avec lui-même, fort ambitieux, excellent patineur au style fluide. Belle vision du jeu, bonne relance mais lancer perfectible.
