Converted into a defenseman in 1931. Also a good softball and baseball player. Was one of the eight (out of ten) surviving members of the 1939 World Championship team that gathered for a team reunion in British Columbia 1978. He was employed by Cominco Ltd. and was the foreman of the Salvage Yard. He passed away of respiratory failure.

Passé en défense au début de sa carrière, à 22 ans, cet amateur de baseball et de softball était un des huit survivants des champions du monde canadiens de 1939 (sur un effectif de 10) à s'être présenté lors d'une réunion d'anciens organisée en 1978 en Colombie-britannique. En dehors de la glace, il travaillait comme contremaître dans une compagnie minière. Décédé d'une insuffisance respiratoire.
