Forward with great size, strength and balance. Hard to move in front of the goal. At his best winning battles along the boards and in the corners. Aggressive forechecker. Somewhat of a powerforward. Used on both wings. Not the greatest skater or technical player.

Attaquant très imposant, costaud et solide sur ses appuis. Difficile à bouger dans le slot, le long des balustrades ou dans les coins, où il se rend utile en remportant de nombreux duels, mais certainement pas par ses qualités de glisse ou de maniement de palet. Utilisé sur les deux ailes, c'est l'attaquant "qui pèse" par excellence.
