Son of Canadian former Danish national team player Dan Jensen. Creative and highly skilled. Plenty of offense from the wing. Good size. Fine speed in all three zones. Ability to play either wing position. Average in his play without the puck, a bit weak in his own end.

Fils de Dan Jensen, ce Canadien naturalisé danois et ancien cadre de la sélection nationale. Nicklas est un ailier droit, également à l'aise à gauche, aussi créatif et doué des mains que son père était défenseur rugueux. Il a néanmoins hérité de sa taille et d'une certaine puissance qui en fait un bon patineur apte à couvrir beaucoup de glace. Manque malheureusement de consistance sans le palet et dans sa propre zone.
