He played three years of junior hockey in Sweden before moving to the United States. There he spent six seasons playing in the NAHL and NCAA III. Originally a center who switched to defense in 2014 when he returned to Denmark.
At the World Championships in 2015 he was used on both positions. Good strong skater and smart in his own defensive zone. Not afraid to throw his weight around.

Passe trois ans en formation dans le hockey suédois (entre 16 et 19 ans) avant de migrer aux USA jouer six ans dans les ligues mineures (NAHL, NCAA III). Parti en tant que centre, il est devenu arrière quand il revient au Danemark en 2014 âgé de 25 ans.
Employé aux deux postes lors du Mondial 2015, s'est depuis fixé derrière. A des qualités de défenseur offensif, bon patineur et passeur, qu'il fait valoir dans sa propre zone où il n'hésite pas non plus à employer son quintal (1,89m, 102kg).
