Conservative defenseman with some defensive issues.
Moved to Austria in 1995 and played more than 20 years in the country.
Finished in the lower Austrian leagues for more than a decade, still being active as a 47-year old.

A émergé comme un défenseur talentueux en juniors, formé dans la difficile école de hockey du CSKA Moscou.
Il fut sélectionné avec l'Union Soviétique en championnat d'Europe U-18 et aux Mondiaux U-20 (champion du monde junior 1989).
Défenseur conservateur avec quelques lacunes défensives.
Il partit en Autriche en 1995 et joua plus de 20 ans dans ce pays.
Il passa plus de dix ans dans les divisions inférieures en Autriche, toujours actif à 47 ans.
