Younger brother of Gheorghe Hutanu [1950-2012], who also used to play for the Romanian national team in the 1960s and 70s.
Player with a good character.
He was a high-scoring center for more than a decade on the Steaua Bucharest team as well as the national team.
Won eight league titles and another eight cup titles in Romania.
Retired as a player in 1986. Was awarded the Master of Sports title for his contributions.
Passed away in a hospital. Buried at the Ghencea cemetery (Cimitirul Ghencea) in Bucharest.

Jeune frère de Gheorghe Hutanu (1950-2012) qui fut aussi utilisé dans l’équipe nationale roumaine dans les années 1960 et 70.
Joueur avec une bonne personnalité.
Marqueur productif marqueur pendant plus d’une décennie pour le Steaua Bucarest ainsi que pour l’équipe nationale.
Il a gagné 8 championnats et 8 coupes nationales de Roumanie.
Retraité en 1986, a gagné le titre de Maître des Sports pour ses contributions.
Décédé à l’hôpital, enterré au cimetière Ghencea à Bucarest.
