Won the Stanley Cup three times in his five NHL seasons (1989, 1991, 1992).
Also a World Champion and Olympic silver medalist.
Consistent player and a fluid skater with smooth hands.
Talented playmaker and had a knack of making big plays. Smart player.
Dangerous on open ice and effective from close in.
Was acquired to Pittsburgh and served as a mentor and friend to a young rookie named Jaromir Jágr.
Represented Czechoslovakia 194 times (55 goals).
Retired in 1992 after having won his third Stanley Cup.
Went on to work as an NHL-scout for Calgary Flames and Dallas Stars.
Inducted into the Czech Hockey Hall of Fame.
