Average player skillwise, poor skater and not much of a stickhandler, but among the best in the world when it came to sheer determination and screening goalies in front of the goal.
Able to absorb an enormous amount of punishment, always bouncing back.
The ultimate “garbage goal” player. Also nicknamed “Demolition Man”.
Could play a physical style of hockey if needed.
Announced his retirement on January 22, 2013.
