Born as the youngest of six children. Could play on all forward positions.
Described as a very heady player with plenty of speed and stick handling ability.
Spent the majority of his playing career in Ottawa and played for the New Edinburghs, Canadiens, St.Pats, Navy Bluejackets, Montagnards, Senators and RCAF Flyers.
He also donned the sweaters of Hull Volants and Thurso Lumber Kings before hanging up his blades in 1951.
His most memorable moment came when he was selected to represent Canada at the 1948 Olympics with the Ottawa RCAF Flyers.
He scored three goals and one assist against Italy and had three assists against USA.
Later worked 40 years for Metropolitan Life in Ottawa, retiring in 1984.
Lived in Florida and Ottawa in retirement.

Benjamin d'une famille de six enfants. Capable de jouer aux trois postes de l'attaque.
Décrit comme un joueur très impétueux avec beaucoup de vitesse et une bonne technique de crosse.
Il a passé la plus grande partie de sa carrière de joueur à Ottawa et a joué pour les New Edinburghs, Canadiens, St.Pats, Navy Bluejackets, Montagnards, Senators et RCAF Flyers.
Il a aussi porté les maillots des Hull Volants et des Thurso Lumber Kings avant de raccrocher les lames en 1951.
Son souvenir le plus mémorable est sa sélection pour le Canada aux Jeux olympiques 1948 avec les Ottawa RCAF Flyers.
Il a marqué 3 buts et 1 assist contre l'Italie et trois autres assistances contre les États-Unis.
Il a ensuite travaillé 40 ans pour Metropolitan Life à Ottawa, jusqu'à sa retraite en 1984.
Il a passé sa retraite en Floride et à Ottawa.
