Despite his big frame (187 cm, 87 kg) he liked technical hockey.
He got better in speed, physical play and powerplay when playing with HC Martigny (NLB) for Canadian coach Normand Dubé from 1991 to 1994.
Played 337 career games in Swiss NLA for HC Ambrì-Piotta, EHC Kloten nd SC Langnau, scoring 131 points (36+95). Represented Switzerland 17 times.
Retired from high level in 2003 to take a job in IT. Played one more year with EHC Urdorf, which got relegated to 3rd league (5th division).
After a seven-year retirement he came back and helped Urdorf to get back up to 2nd league (4th division).
Had to hang up the skates in 2013 after a knee injury and went on to coach EHC Urdorf during three more years.
His wife Sarah, born Angelsberger, is a famous choreographer.

Malgré un gabarit avantageux (187 cm, 87 kg), il était adepte d'un hockey technique.
Il a progressé en vitesse, en engagement physique et en powerplay (ainsi qu'en français) à Martigny en LNB avec l'entraîneur canadien Normand Dubé de 1991 à 1994.
Il a ensuite joué en LNA pour Ambrì-Piotta, Kloten et Langnau. 131 points (36+95) en 337 parties de LNA suisse. 17 sélections en équipe de Suisse.
Arrête le hockey de haut niveau en 2003 pour travailler dans l'informatique (dans le secteur des terminaux de paiement en point de vente).
Il joue encore un an pour le EHC Urdorf, alors relégué de 2e en 3e ligue. Il joue ensuite avec les vétérans pour Kloten.
Sept ans après, à 41 ans, il rechausse les patins pour Urdorf et participe à la remontée en 2e ligue en 2012.
Contraint à arrêter pour de bon par une blessure au genou, il est devenu un an plus tard entraîneur d'Urdorf pendant trois ans.
Son épouse Sarah, née Angelsberger, est une célèbre chorégraphe de danse.
