Born and raised in Helsingborg, but moved to Ängelholm when he was eleven.
Loyal and coachable player. Drafted in the NHL by Vancouver Canucks 1987.
Was originally the player supposed to take the fifth penalty shot in the Olympic final 1992 (the one Peter Forsberg took).
Scored 140 (75+65) career points in 224 Swedish Elitserien games with Malmö and 281 (172+109) career points in 309 Swedish second level games with Rögle.
Played five seasons in Germany. Scored 135 (57+78) points in 263 DEL games with the Kassel Huskies.
Retired in 2003. Stayed involved in ice hockey, working for Rögle BK in their marketing department and as a manager and coach.
