Fast skating left winger and very dangerous around the goal. Was a Corporal in the Royal Canadian Air Force and a member of their hockey team. Selected to represent Canada at the 1948 Olympics. He almost didn’t go as his wife had a miscarriage shortly before the Games. Scored 354 (183+171) career points in 319 games.
Ran a sporting goods store in Ottawa. Was an outstanding athlete who also excelled in baseball and softball. Way back in 1927 he used to be the bat boy for Ottawa Loyals. In the early 1940s he was the playing manager in the Mercantile Softball League. Was the vice president of the Ottawa Junior Softball League in the late 1940s and early 50s.
His athletic skills earned him an induction into the Ottawa Sports Hall of Fame.

Ailier gauche rapide et dangereux dans le slot adverse. Caporal dans l'armée de l'air canadienne, il s'aligna naturellement pour son équipe de hockey sur glace. Retenu pour les Jeux d'hiver 1948, il faillit ne pas s'y rendre car son épouse fit une fausse couche quelques jours avant l'événement. 354 points (183+171) sur un total de 319 matches.
Une fois quittés les rangs militaires, il s'occupa d'un magasin d'articles de sport à Ottawa. Il en était la meilleure réclame puisqu'il fut aussi un remarquable joueur de baseball et de softball. Batteur des Ottawa Loyals dès ses 13 ans, il devint au début des années 1940 manager de la Mercantile Softball League, peu avant de prendre le poste de vice-président de la Ligue junior de softball d'Ottawa, une responsabilité quittée dans les années 50.
Toutes ces prouesses sportives lui valurent d'être introduit à l'Ottawa Sports Hall of Fame.
