Of Jewish origin. His father survived the concentration camp during WW II and later escaped to Norway.
As a little boy Jørn used to compete as a speedskater. First played for Sandaker when he was 14 years old.
Voted as the best goaltender at the 1975 Pool C World Championships.
Won Gullpucken as Norways best player in 1977. Won three league titles.
Represented Norway 69 times. Played for Sandaker, Spartacus, Rosenhoff IL, IL Manglerud/Star, Stjernen IF and Furuset IF.
Retired in the late 1980s. He was a computer engineer.
After his retirement as a player he worked as a IT Manager within ERP and infrastructure in Siemens and Cinet.
In charge of implementation, development, groupware and infrastructure projects in the private and public sectors. Project manager for Atea AS.

D’origine juive, son père a survécu aux camps de concentration pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale et s’est échappé en Norvège.
Petit garçon, il voulait être patineur de vitesse. Il a commencé le hockey avec Sandaker à l’âge de 14 ans.
Leilleur gardien du Mondial C en 1975.
Gullpucken du meilleur joueur norvégien en 1977, triple champion de Norvège.
Il a joué pour Sandaker, Spartacus, Rosenhoff IL, IL Manglerud/Star, Stjernen IF et Furuset IF.
69 sélections en équipe de Norvège. Retraité fin des années 1980. Ingénieur informaticien.
Après sa retraite, il a travaillé comme directeur informatique en logiciels de gestion et infrastructure chez Siemens et Cinet.
En charge de l’implantation, du développement et des projets d’infrastructure dans les secteurs public et privé. Chef de projet chez Atea AS.
