Considered the 1994 Olympics to be his career highlight, but was disappointed by the result.
He was on the 1994 World Championship team, but became the odd man out when Jaromír Jágr arrived from the NHL to strengthen the team.
Known to hate doing TV-interviews and always avoided them.
Scored 376 career points in 581 Extraliga games. Retired in 2003.
Went on to become an ice hockey coach, amongst others coaching the Sparta Praha juniors.
