Played junior hockey for his hometown Sterzing/Vipiteno.
Seen as a talented player and appeared early on in the U-18 and U-20 national teams.
Moved to North America for one season, playing in the NAHL in 2009/10.
Returned to Sterzing/Vipiteno and then went on to play for HC Bolzano.

Formé dans sa ville natale de Vipiteno (Sterzing en allemand).
Reconnu comme un joueur talentueux et est apparu tôt dans les équipes nationales U-18 et U-20.
Il a joué une saison en Amérique du Nord, en NAHL en 2009/10 avant de rentrer dans son club d'origine.
Deux fois champion de la ligue autrichienne (EBEL) avec le HC Bolzano en 2014 et 2018.
