Fast and powerful skater. Strong right-handed shot on the powerplay, along the blueline or in the left circle.
Honest player with an excellent work ethic. Physical but never vicious or gnarly. His character was not suited for North American play.
After a 103-point-season with the Hull Olympiques in the QMJHL he was drafted in the secound round in the NHL by the Hartford Whalers.
Played professionally in the NHL and AHL for four years before the Whalers bought out his contract.
Moved to Europe and first played one season in Holland 1984/85, before embarking on a long and successful career in France.
Obtained French citizenship in 1989. Captained Brest to a couple of league titles (1996 et 1997) while getting a training in food industry. Kept working in that field after retiring in 2000 and going back to Québec.
