Younger brother of Mark Fusco. Followed in his brothers footsteps and won the Hobey Baker Memorial Award as the top US Collegiate player in 1986.
Was noted as something of a sniper in college with a great touch around the net. He was an honest hard-working player. After the 1984 Olympics he decided to go and play in Switzerland. He eventually geared up for another Olympic tournament in 1988. Retired in 1988 when he felt that he had done everything he wanted to. He had lost his motivation to play the game.
Became a part owner of a family-related software business. Then co-owned and manages a sports complex including a rink near Boston. Runs a girls' youth hockey league there.
Inducted into the US Hockey Hall of Fame.

Cadet de Mark Fusco. Vainqueur en 1986, comme Mark trois ans auparavant, du Trophée Hobey Baker décerné au meilleur joueur universitaire américain.
Réputation d'excellent buteur durant ses années universitaires. Dans les faits, un centre fiable et travailleur. Après les Jeux olympiques 1984 et ses études achevées, il fit un bout de carrière en Suisse (Olten) et regoûta à la quinzaine olympique en 1988, année à l'issue de laquelle il prendra sa retraite de hockeyeur car, selon lui, il avait fait le tour de la chose et perdu motivation.
Il a pris part à l'entreprise familiale de logiciels informatiques. Il a ensuite acquis en partie et géré un complexe sportif incluant une patinoire près de Boston, où il dirige aussi une ligue de hockey pour filles.
Introduit au Hall of Fame du hockey américain.
