Younger brother of Jan Fleischmann. Came from a prominent family, growing up in the Smichov section of Prague. While he studied law he often played under the pseudonym "Řezníček" (little butcher) so that he wouldn’t be expelled, as the professors didn’t like to see their students in sports.
First emerged as a bandy player with SK Slavia Praha in 1903. Represented Czechoslovakia on nine occasions, but was mainly a reserve in the championships, ready to step in if there were any injuries. Fought in World War I. Was a doctor.
Represented Bohemia/Czechoslovakia 9 times (no goal, and officially 3/0).
Some sources have him born on September 4, 1886. He is buried at the family plot at Olšany Cemetery in Prague.

Frère aîné de Jan Fleischmann, il est issu d'une famille influente de la société pragoise qui résidait dans le quartier de Smichov.
Étudiant en droit, il prenait soin de ne jouer au hockey que sous le pseudonyme de "Řezníček" (le petit boucher) car ses professeurs n'aimaient pas du tout que leurs ouailles se dévergondent en pratiquant le sport.
Il émergea en 1903 dans l'équipe de bandy du Slavia Prague. Il se convertit au hockey sur glace avant la Première guerre mondiale, au front de laquelle il ira se battre, comme son frère. Il est docteur.
Neuf sélections internationales pour la Bohême ou la Tchécoslovaquie (trois, officiellement), aucun but. Il est souvent l'homme surnuméraire lors des grands rendez-vous.
On situe parfois sa naissance le 4 septembre 1886.
Enterré dans le caveau familial de cimetière pragois d'Olšany.
