Born in Cernăuţi, Austria-Hungary. It later was part of Romania and today it is in Ukraine.
Didn’t begin playing ice hockey until he was 17.
Was also a six time Romanian figure skating champion (pairs) and participated in the 1934 European Championships (pairs), finishing in 7th place. Two years later he finished in 9th place (pairs) at the 1939 European Championships. At the 1936 Winter Olympics he was 13th (pairs).
Played on the same football team as Andrei Barbulescu who played for Romania in the 1947 World Ice Hockey Championships.
Eisenbeisser represented Romania in football on nine occasions, including the 1930 World Cup in Uruguay. Won the Romanian football championship four times, scoring 16 goals in 109 games.
An interesting anecdote from the 1930 tour to South America is that he almost died there. Like his teammates he really enjoyed his time there and was fascinated by the local hospitality. One night he had been dancing all night long with the local girls.
Afterwards he returned to his hotel room, his shirt soaked in sweat, and took a cold shower. He ended up having double pneumonia, lost 15 pounds, had high fever and was coughing blood. His condition got so bad that he got the last rites, even his teammates bidding him farewell.
His condition improved and he was moved to a hospital in Genoa, Italy. After a month in hospital he was released and came to Bucharest where he spent more time in hospital.
Newspapers reported that he had died in an Italian hospital. He went on to live for another 61 years.

Né à Cernăuţi, alors en Autriche-Hongrie, qui a ensuite fait partie de la Roumanie et est aujourd'hui en Ukraine (Tchernivitsi).
Il n'a pas commencé à jouer au hockey sur glace avant d'avoir 17 ans.
Six fois champion de Roumanie de patinage artistique en couple. 7e des championnats d'Europe 1934, 9e de ceux de 1939, et 13e des Jeux olympiques 1936 (en couple).
Il a joué dans la même équipe de football qu'Andrei Barbulescu qui a joué pour la Roumanie aux championnats du monde 1947 de hockey sur glace.
Eisenbeisser a été sélectionné neuf fois avec l'équipe de football de Roumanie, dont la première Coupe du monde en 1930 en Uruguay. Il a remporté quatre fois le championnat de Roumanie de football et y a marqué 16 buts en 109 matches.
Une anecdote intéressante de sa tournée de 1930 en Amérique du Sud est qu'il a failli y mourir. Comme ses coéquipiers il appréciait ce voyage et était fasciné par l'hospitalité locale. Un soir il a dansé toute la nuit avec les filles du pays.
En rentrant ensuite dans sa chambre d'hôtel, son maillot était baigné de sueur et il a pris une douche froide. Il a fini avec une double pneumonie, perdu 15 kilos, eu de la fièvre et toussait du sang. Son état s'était tellement détérioré qu'il a reçu les derniers sacrements, même ses coéquipiers lui ont dit adieu.
Son état s'est amélioré et on l'a rapatrié dans un hôpital de Gênes en Italie. Au bout d'un mois, il a été libéré et est rentré à Bucarest où il a encore passé du temps à l'hôpital.
Les journaux avaient rapporté sa mort dans l'hôpital italien. Il a vécu 61 ans de plus.
