Bob Dupuis

Dupuis, Robert A.

Position : G

26-08-1952 North Bay, ON, CAN

Already had two children when he took part to the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid. Hurt his hand badly prior to the tournament.
Became somewhat of a scapegoat when he allowed a fluke shot against Finland at the Olympics. He spent the next day alone in his room and missied the training session.
He signed as a free agent with the Edmonton Oilers shortly after the Olympics. His only NHL-appearance came on March 9, 1980, in a 3-5 loss to Philadelphia. Philadelphia scored an empty net goal in the end and Dupuis was the third star of the game.
NHL totals: 1 GP and 4.00 GAA
