Born in Poschiavo just outside of St.Moritz and grew up in St.Moritz where he played his first ice hockey. Good overall player but had a tendency to complicate things too much at times.
Also nicknamed "Coco". Represented Switzerland 130 times. Retired from top hockey in 2008 and then continued playing in lower divisions. Coached EHC St.Moritz as well as the Swiss womens national team.
He married Claudio Micheli's sister Anita.

Né à Poschiavo, de l'autre côté du col du Bernin par rapport à la station de Saint-Moritz, où il passa son enfance et apprit le hockey sur glace. Joueur complet sans défaut majeur mais qui aimait se compliquer la vie.
Également surnommé "Coco", il compte 130 sélections internationales pour la Nati. Quitte le haut niveau en 2008 et poursuit le jeu dans les petites divisions. Devenu entraîneur de l'EHC Saint-Moritz et pour le programme suisse de hockey féminin.
Il a épousé Anita Micheli, la sœur de Claudio Micheli.
