Started out playing for the famed St. Michael's Buzzers in Toronto and spent almost his entire career playing for various teams in the Ontario area. The highlight of his playing career was the participation at the 1956 Olympics in Cortina D’Ampezzo, Italy.
Could play both as a left wing and center. Scored 300 (140+160) points in 344 career games. Rounded out his career by playing Senior Intercollegiate hockey with Queen's University from which he graduated as a lawyer. Also worked briefly as a teacher in physical education.
In the 1990s he played oldtimers hockey in Huntsville.

Fait son entrée dans le hockey senior sous le maillot des célèbres Buzzers de St. Michael à Toronto. Passera toute sa carrière à défendre des clubs ontariens, principalement de l'agglomération de Toronto. Le faîte de sa carrière consistera en sa participation aux Jeux d'hiver de 1956 à Cortina d'Ampezzo.
Pouvait à la fois occuper le centre et l'aile gauche, deux postes qui lui permirent d'inscrire 300 points (140+160) en 344 matches disputés. On le vit aussi en championnat interuniversitaire avec la Queen's University, dont il sortit diplômé de droit avant d'exercer la profession d'avocat. Fut aussi, brièvement, enseignant d'éducation physique.
Infatigable, il jouait au hockey en vétérans à Huntsville dans les années 1990.
