Rugged defenseman with very good playmaking abilities. Had a fast first outlet pass to his forwards. Was a three sport athlete at Arlington High School, also playing football and baseball. Went on to become an all-star player at Bowdoin College.
Born and raised in the United States, idolizing the great Bobby Orr and rooting for the Bruins. He was at the 1978 pre-olympic trials held in Colorado Springs. He didn’t make the American team that went on to win that famous gold in 1980.
Four years later however he was able to fulfill his Olympic dream and the highlight of his playing career when he represented Italy. Came to Italy in 1981, where he was allowed to represent Italy because of his Italian ancestors, and played the rest of his playing career there until his retirement in 1992.
Was part of the Minnesota North Stars organization, attended a few NHL-camps but never played in the big league. Scored 650 (142+508) career points in 633 games. Moved to Cape Cod and became the owner of Homeland Realty.

Défenseur madré bon faiseur de jeu, doté d'une belle relance. Pratiquait trois sports (foot US et baseball en plus du hockey sur glace) lors de son passage par l'Arlington High School. Intégré au Bowdoin College, dans l'Etat du Maine, il y devint joueur all-star.
Citoyen américain de naissance et d'éducation, il adorait Bobby Orr et les Bruins. Il aurait même pu être du Miracle on Ice puisqu'il fut retenu pour les préselections olympiques de Colorado Springs en 1978 mais ne passa pas le cut.
Quatre ans plus tard à Sarajevo, il put concrétiser son rêve olympique en représentant l'Italie de ses ancêtres. Il était arrivé dans la Botte en 1981 et y jouera tout le reste de sa carrière jusqu'en 1992.
Fit partie tout ce temps de l'organisation des Minnesota North Stars, fut même invité à des camps d'été, sans franchir le pas vers la grande ligue. 650 points (142+508) en 633 parties durant sa carrière. Après celle-ci, il s'installa à Cape Cod, célèbre station balnéaire de la côte est, et y acheta un domaine immobilier.
