Back in those days he was physically big, and in combination with his long burly beard, he was an intimidating presence on the ice. He first emerged in 1913, playing for HC Chamonix.
He had five sisters and four brothers. Later worked as a lawyer in the city of Orange.

D'un gabarit imposant pour l'époque ce qui, allié à sa longue barbe touffue, le rendait intimidant. On peut retracer sa carrière à partir de 1913, au service du HC Chamonix.
Cinq soeurs et quatre frères. Il travailla comme avocat dans la ville d'Orange.
Sa naissance est parfois située en 1892.
