Played for Norwood High School, MA, before embarking on a successful college career at Boston University.
He in fact had such a good career there that he in 1993 was inducted into the Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame.
Drafted in 1974 by Atlanta Flames (NHL) and New England Whalers (WHA).
Scored 210 points (33+177) in 257 career games. Retired in 1979.
Coached high school hockey in Norwood after his retirement.
Also took up acting and became involved in community theater around Boston.
Appeared in local TV commercials, public service announcements and industrial films.
