Younger brother of Slavko Beravs. After finishing primary school in Jesenice he went to school in Ljubljana where he embarked on a long hockey career with HK Olimpija, beginning in 1962.
He represented Yugoslavia 73 times, scoring 38 points (11+27).
Went on to live in Notranje Gorice, ca 6 miles southwest of Ljubljana.
Inducted into the Slovenian Hockey Hall of Fame.

Frère cadet de Slavko Beravs. Après avoir terminé ses études primaires à Jesenice il fut scolarisé à Ljubljana où il embrassa une longue carrière de joueur de hockey avec le HK Olimpija, qui démarra en 1962.
International yougoslave 73 fois, auteur de 38 points (11+27).
Il partit vivre à Notranje Gorice, à 10 km environ au sud-ouest de Ljubljana.
Intronisé au Slovenian Hockey Hall of Fame.
