Cousin of former Swedish national team coach Bengt „Fisken“ Ohlsson.
Got his nickname „Totte“ because he couldn’t pronounce „Folke“ properly as a kid.
Played many sports growing up, especially alpine skiing was something that he really enjoyed.
Grew up idolizing Åke Lassas, Vilgot Larsson, Tumba Johansson, Nisse Nilsson and Canadian Bill Gibson.
Very good goalscorer with a fine presence around the goal. First emerged as a junior player when he scored 48 goals in only 12 games.
Was voted the best forward in the most prestigious junior tournament „TV-Pucken“ 1960.
Voted as the junior of the year in 1963. Made his debut for the Swedish national team in 1963 and was put on a line with Mats Lönn and his childhood idol Tumba Johansson.
New York Rangers showed an interest in him 1964, but he never signed with them although he attended a camp in Winnipeg. Played for Leksands IF before moving to Stockholm for studies.
There he played for Djurgårdens IF before rounding out his playing career with Trångsunds IF (Div.2) and Ekerö IK (Div.3). Retired in 1978.

Cousin de l'ancien entraîneur de l'équipe de Suède, Bengt „Fisken“ Ohlsson.
Surnommé „Totte“ car il ne savait pas prononcer „Folke“ correctement quand il était enfant.
Il a pratiqué de nombreux sports dans sa jeunesse, en particulier le ski alpin qu'il appréciait grandement.
Il a grandi avec pour idoles Åke Lassas, Vilgot Larsson, Tumba Johansson, Nisse Nilsson and Canadian Bill Gibson.
Très bon buteur avec une bonne présence autour de la cage. Il s'est fait remarquer en junior tout d'abord en inscrivant 48 buts en seulement 12 matchs.
Il a été désigné meilleur attaquant dans le plus prestigieux des tournois juniors „TV-Pucken“ en 1960.
Élu junior de l'année en 1963. Il fit ses débuts en sélection cette année là et fut aligné avec Mats Lönn et son idole de jeunesse Tumba Johansson.
Les Rangers de New York lui ont témoigné un intérêt en 1964, mais il n'a jamais signé avec eux malgré également un camp d'entraînement à Winnipeg. Il a joué au Leksands IF avant de partir à Stockholm pour ses études.
Là-bas il a joué pour Djurgården avant de poursuivre sa carrière au Trångsunds IF (Div.2) et au Ekerö IK (Div.3). Retraité en 1978.
