A wizard in junior hockey where he displayed fine offensive instincts and leadership qualities.
Became the youngest NHL captain ever at the age of 19 years and 4 months in Minnesota.
Not a finesse player, but a grinder and good all-round performer. Seen as a pretty much complete player.
Intense competitor with a strong wrist and slap shot. Strong skater with excellent balance.
Won the 1993 Stanley Cup in his first season with the Montreal Canadiens.
Retired in 1999. Went on to live in Edina, MN. Worked as a broker at Piper Jaffray – an investment bank in Minneapolis.

Il est devenu le plus jeune capitaine en NHL à l'âge de 19 ans et 4 mois au Minnesota.
Ce n'était pas un joueur de finesse, mais un "destructeur" avec de bonnes performances globales. Réputé comme un joueur complet.
Un compétiteur intense avec un solide poignet et un lourd slap shot. Patineur solide avec un excellent équilibre.
Vainqueur de la Coupe Stanley 1993 à sa première saison à Montréal, il a ensuite participé aux premiers play-offs de Tampa et d'Anaheim.
Retraité en 1999, il a pris la nationalité américaine et s'est installé à Edina, dans le Minnesota.
Il travailla comme courtier au sein de la banque d'investissement Piper Jaffray à Minneapolis.
