Formed a dangerous line on the national team together with Aleksandr Andrievsky and Andrei Skabelka. Considered to be one of the most complete centermen of all time to play for Belarus.
Many times it seemed that he took greater satisfaction in setting up a teammate for a goal than scoring himself. Always stood up for himself and his teammates in any game situation.
Known to fans for having played with an old JOFA helmet his entire career.
Scored 304 (121+183) career points in 676 games. Retired in 2006.
Became a businessman after his playing career.

Il formait une ligne dangereuse en équipe nationale avec Aleksandr Andrievsky et Andrei Skabelka. Considéré comme l'un des centres biélorusses les plus complets de tous les temps.
Bien souvent il semblait plus satisfait dans le fait de délivrer une passe décisive à l'un de ses coéquipiers que de marquer lui-même. Perpétuellement dans l'encouragement pour lui comme ses coéquipiers dans toutes les situations de jeu.
Il fut connu des fans pour avoir porté toute sa carrière un vieux casque JOFA.
Passé par Grenoble en France en 1994/95.
304 points dans une carrière (121+183) en 676 matchs. Retraité en 2006.
Devenu homme d'affaires après sa carrière de joueur.
