Moved to Germany at the age of 17 and played two seasons of junior hockey there.
Made his KHL debut at the age of 19.

Bon patineur au jeu mature pour son âge quand il était junior.
Il déménagea en Allemagne à 17 ans et joua deux saisons de hockey junior à Augsbourg.
