Began playing ice hockey at the age of five in Kiruna.
Played 670 career games, scoring 590 points (231+359).
Formed a line together with Lars Molin and Peter Sundström at the 1987 World Championships. His career highlight as a player according to himself was playing in the 1987 Canada Cup.
Retired in 1994 after having lost his drive and motivation.
Stayed in hockey and worked as a hockey coach and general manager.

A commencé le hockey à cinq ans dans sa ville natale de Kiruna, près du cercle polaire. 670 matches en carrière pour 590 points (231+359).
Aligné lors des Mondiaux 1987 à côté de Lars Molin et Peter Sundström. Le sommet de sa carrière fut sa participation à la Coupe Canada 1987.
Sa motivation déclinant, il prit sa retraite en 1994.
Resté dans le hockey, il occupa les fonctions d'entraîneur et de manager général.
