Younger brother of Carl Abrahamsson. Gifted, strong, fast and smooth athlete.
Began playing bandy in 1913 and made the senior team in 1914.
Ice hockey was his second sport behind long-jumping. He in fact was a very good long-jumper. Was a three-time Swedish long-jump champion, but more importantly he was an Olympic long-jump bronze medalist at the 1920 Olympics.
Also was a European ice hockey champion in 1921 and Swedish in 1925.
Retired from ice hockey in 1927.
He moved from Södertälje to Stockholm in 1921 and worked as a bank clerk.

Jeune frère de Carl Abrahamsson. Athlète émérite, costaud, rapide et élégant.
A commencé par le bandy en 1913, intégré à l'équipe senior dès 1914.
Le hockey sur glace était son sport d'hiver. L'été, il pratiquait le saut en longueur. Avec bonheur ! Trois fois champion de Suède de la spécialité, il en a également remporté le bronze olympique à Anvers en 1920.
Également champion d'Europe de hockey en 1921 et de Suède en 1925.
Renonce au hockey à 29 ans. Il vivait depuis six ans à Stockholm, où il officiait en tant qu'employé de banque.
